There are several bet types in Pick 5, meaning that the way you play determines how you win. If you play a Straight, you must match all five numbers in the exact order they’re drawn. For Box plays, you still need to match all the numbers to win, but the order doesn’t matter. A Straight/Box combines both wager types, so it is possible to win both parts of the prize by matching the numbers exactly, or just the Box prize for matching them in a different order.
