Thursday December 25th 2025Powerball’s longest-ever jackpot run came to an end on Christmas Eve as a single player won $1.8 billion. The winning ticket was sold in Arkansas.
The colossal Christmas jackpot was created by a sequence of 46 consecutive rolls, which started off back in September after the last 10-figure payout – worth $1.787 billion – was split between ticket holders from Missouri and Texas.
It looked like it might even surge past $2 billion for the second time in history, but in the end it turned out to be the second-biggest jackpot win of all time.
The numbers drawn were 4-25-31-52-59, with a Powerball of 19. The Power Play multiplier was 2X, and there were millions of prizes paid out besides the jackpot. Arkansas' Biggest Win
