Welcome to the Keno hub for Ohio, a section dedicated to the Buckeye State’s most rapid-fire game. Drawings take place every few minutes, starting at 6:04 AM ET every day and going through to 2:29 AM ET the next morning.
Keno gives you far more flexibility over how to play than most games, as you can decide how many numbers to pick, how much to wager and whether to add the Booster option for the chance to increase your winnings. You can win up to $100,000 on a $1 wager in Keno.
The following table shows the prizes you can win in each Keno game, from the 1-Spot version (where you choose one number) to the 10-Spot version (where you play 10 numbers). The payout amounts are based on a $1 wager, and depend on how many numbers you play and match. If you pick five numbers and match all five, for example, you win more than if you choose six and match five of them.
If you wager more than $1, multiply the prize amounts in the table accordingly to calculate how much you might win.

Adding the Keno Booster to your ticket doubles the cost of playing but gives you the chance to increase the value of prizes. The Ohio Lottery selects a multiplier at random for every draw (10x, 5x, 4x, 3x, 2x or 1x). If you win a prize, it is boosted by the value of the multiplier (the 1x multiplier does not boost winnings).
For example, if you play the 7 Spot game and match all seven numbers, the prize is $2,000 for a $1 wager. Adding the Booster option doubles the cost to $2, but imagine if the 10x Booster is drawn? This would multiply your winnings from $2,000 to $20,000.

Start by deciding how many numbers (known as Spots) to play. You can play just one if you like, or as many as 10.
Choose your numbers from a range of 1 to 80. If you selected the 1 Spot option, choose just one number. If you opted for a 2 Spot game, pick two numbers, and so on. Mark your numbers on a bet card or use the Auto Pick feature to generate a random set.
There isn’t one fixed wager amount in Keno. You may spend $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per play. The more you wager, the more you can win.
Add the Booster to potentially increase your winnings. It’s simply a case of marking the Booster option on your bet card and paying an extra $1 for each $1 wagered (doubling the cost of a play). The OH Lottery selects a multiplier alongside every draw, with winnings boosted by the value of the multiplier.
Play in just the next draw, or multiple consecutive draws. It is possible to play up to 50 draws in a row.
Complete your purchase and wait for the next draw to take place. You can watch drawings on Keno monitors at authorized retailers, or catch the results online. Keep in mind that there are 20 winning numbers out of 80 in each draw, even though you can only pick a maximum of 10 numbers.
You must be at least 18 years old to play any Ohio Lottery game.
Prize amounts are fixed so in most scenarios it does not matter if there are multiple winners. However, the 10, 9 and 8 Spot games have a maximum prize payout of $2 million per draw, so prizes may have to be reduced proportionally if there are so many winners that the total payout would exceed $2 million.
There is a 180-day deadline for claiming lottery prizes in Ohio.
